OVERVIEW

This course provides the basic knowledge together with a practical understanding of the chiksan equipment and its use. After completing the course, the participant will have a greater understanding of how to plan, rig up and recognise hazards regarding chiksan operations. The course includes both theoretical and practical training.

The course contains the following subjects:

• HSE and incidents
• Introduction to treating iron
• Equipment and use
• Requirements and principles
• Couplings and gaskets
• Exercise rig-up

Practical information

Lunch is included in the course fee. We supply the necessary personal safety equipment, but we recommend to bring your own safety shoes if preferred.
