Graham Meldrum, one of our Aberdeen based training instructors, has this week achieved an outstanding milestone of training 1,000 candidates on the IWCF Well Control Course.
Since 2004, Graham has played a key role in delivering training courses to both Altus Intervention and client personnel. Although Graham’s milestone lies in the IWCF Well Control Course, Graham has also instructed a number of wireline, coiled tubing, fluid pumping and pipeline and process courses offered at the Aberdeen base. Graham brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that he has gained throughout his career, which is invaluable to candidates on his courses.
After 14 years of service, Graham still enjoys the role of instructing and tells us - “It’s always rewarding to see trainees start their careers here and then progress throughout the company. I think it’s important to continually keep learning about your field and I always welcome students back if they require any further guidance on certain aspects of the course.”
Simon Williams, VP Human Resources comments “Graham has been instrumental in achieving and maintaining our accreditation to deliver our IWCF courses. He is highly respected both internally and the wider oil and gas industry. Congratulations to Graham on this achievement and thank you for 14 years of outstanding service.” – Simon Williams VP Human Resources.
